Team Photos with Santa Junior Circuit Meet Sunday, December 8, 2013 Talisman Centre Pool Sanction # The Cascade Swim Club is pleased to invite you to the Junior Circuit meet to be held December 8, 2013 at the Talisman Centre Pool, Calgary. Individual swimmer entries are to be entered using Hytek but a grid sheet will be accepted. Participating clubs will not be responsible for submitting individual swimmer cards. The files are to be uploaded on line at www.swimming.ca. Time of receipt of uploaded entries will be considered as the date and time on the notification email sent to the meet manager through the SNC site. All times are to be entered Short Course. The entry fee is $25.00 per swimmer. The Olympic bonus is in effect for swimmers participating in these meets. In addition, the following must reach the Meet Manager on or before Friday, December 1, 2013: Cheque with entry fees made payable to Cascade Swim Club Word document of your entries. Cascade Swim Club Facility: Talisman Centre Pool is the host site for the December 8, 2013, Southern Alberta Region Junior Circuit Meet. Eligibility: Swimmers will be eligible to swim in Junior Swim Circuit meets provided: a) That as of September 1 of the current swim season, Junior Circuit meets (novice meets) are for developing swimmers who are age 10 & under. The B time standard or MQT (Meet qualifying time) will be the de-qualifying time for all novice meets for swimmers over the age of 10. b) They are currently a registered competitive swimmer with a year round program designated to the Southern Region of Swim Alberta. c) Swimmers who are registered as non-competitive can enter and compete in ONE sanctioned competition per swim season. If they wish to enter any additional competitions they must be upgraded by the registrar, an invoice created, and paid prior to them swimming at the meet. If a swimmer competes a second (or more times) without being upgraded then the club is invoiced $100.00 per swimmer per meet. In the spirit of the league meets please send novice swimmers. Entries: Swimmers are limited to a maximum of four (4) individual swims with a maximum of 2 swims for any combination of 100 and 200 events. Entries are to be submitted using Hytek along with a hard copy however grid sheets are acceptable. No entry cards are to be submitted by individual guest clubs. The entry time for the 400 Free event may be run at the home club as a Time Trial the week of the circuit meet. Entry times for 400 Free are to be submitted to the host club at the start of the meet. Entry deadline is 12:01am on November 25, 2013. Late entries will be accepted with a late fee of $10.00 per entry. Deck entries may be permitted at the discretion of the meet manager and as long as no additional heats and/or seeding is created for an additional fee of $10.00 per entry. Relays: Relay names must be submitted to the clerk of course 60 minutes before the relay event is to start. Failure to submit names will constitute an automatic scratch from the relay. Seeding: Meet will be mixed senior seeded in fastest to slowest order. Start Time: Warm-up: 12:00PM Start Time: 12:45PM Entry Times: Entry times are required for all entries to facilitate timing of the meet by the meet manager as well as a dequalifying check. NO Times will not be accepted. Coaches are to estimate a time for a swimmer or use the times below. 25m = 39.99 50m = 1:19.99 100m = 2:19.99 200m = 4:40.99 Ribbons: Ribbons will be awarded for all Best Times and Great Swim. Entry Fees: Entry fees will be $25.00 per participant of the meet. Scratches: A scratch sheet, complete with the name of the club, the name of the swimmer and the event number(s), must be handed to the Clerk of Course no later than 30 minutes before the start of the meet. Program Changes: The Meet Manager reserves the right to limit entries in the Junior Swim Circuit Meet due to time constraints. Every effort will be made to ensure that all entry swims are completed. Scoring: There will be no scoring at the Junior Swim Circuit Meets. Officials: Visiting clubs are encouraged to volunteer to officiate. Please list any available officials and their qualifications and submit with entries. Calgary and area clubs sending swimmers to the meet will be expected to send officials equalling the number of swimmers attending.
