Pupil Survey 2015 – Results and Response Pupils were invited to respond to our survey in July 2014. Due to the young age of our pupils, we requested parents’ assistance with this. Question 1: Question 2: Parents were asked to read the statements to their child and then indicate if they strongly agreed, agreed, disagreed or strongly disagreed. Comments from Headteacher: I am pleased that most children have given positive responses. I will use the results of this survey to guide discussions with the school council (along with Mrs Frame). Question 3: Pupils were asked what they like most about school. Question 4: Children were asked what they would like to change about our school. nothing nothing Nothing. I would like to change the little lego and have some Cheama lego, and there could be some more things to climb on in the playground. A tunnel with a roof to get to church Have ballons and presents More reading time please. I would like milk to drink instead of water all the time. I would like to do more science and maths and painting. I would like to have a bigger school with more classes so there will be more children so people can have more friends. The playground. Longer playtimes. More space on the playground. I would like to do even more PE because it is fun. People calling names and being unkind and when they hurt me. Some naughty pupils being nice to me and listening to the teachers. Make playground bigger Have some chocolate on the dinner menu! Comment from Headteacher: Parents are now able to subscribe to Cool Milk which means that children aged 5 and over can get a drink of milk at school. As for the other comments, I will be looking to discuss these further with the children in classes and at school council meetings. Thank you so much for responding.
