All pupils are set challenging targets consistent with the schools’ high expectations. They are supported by a well-planned, balanced curriculum and delivered by an effective staff team with the help of excellent resources. A self-evaluating school, which rigorously evaluates assessment data, monitors performance and provides appropriate intervention to support pupil achievement. An Accelerated Learning Programme is well established and a wide range of Out of Hours Learning activities take place. Provision is made for Gifted and Talented pupils as well as those with SEN. Pupils are encouraged and supported to take roles of responsibility. An active school council is in place. All pupils wear school uniform and are provided with a full homework timetable.
