The children clearly enjoyed
their break and have come back with excellent
attitudes to class and are impressing their
teachers. I wish them all a successful New
Year.
Foundation Stage workshops
We are holding 3 parent
workshops & the first will start
next Tuesday 10th January at
9.00-9.45 in the Exp Arts Room.
It's a focus on personal, social
and emotional development and
for parents to find out how we learn in this area
and how parents can support at home; a letter will
go out today to everyone in Nursery & Reception
classes.
Welcome Back
I would like to welcome back Emma
Barnes (Yr 4) & Clare Morton (NUR)
who have both returned after
maternity leave.
Music Tuition
Don’t forget that paid music tuition starts back
again for the new term next
week on Monday & Wednesday
depending on which instrument
your child plays. Mr Tranter our
keyboard tutor was very ill before
Christmas but he will be back
with us as he is now feeling better. We will be
welcoming a new tutor for violin as Ms Pidoux has
left for her maternity leave. Anna Edwards will be
the new tutor & the day will be changing from a
Wednesday to a Monday.
Poppy Appeal
Begbrook raised a grand total of £67.67
buying poppies for the appeal! Well done
to all involved.
100% Attendance at Begbrook!
We have an incredible 90 children who
have 100% perfect attendance from
September to Christmas. They will each be getting
a certificate to mark this achievement.
