A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
Get in to the Christmas spirit with this FREE workshop for young designers aged 12-19
years old.
The NCCD will be hosting a free young designer’s workshop on Tuesday 12 December from
4 to 6pm. This is a chance for young people aged 12-19 years old to explore craft and design
and to develop their skills using Christmas as the theme.
Working with Phiona Richards, you will be creating an exploding star book which doubles
as a decoration. Phiona is a paper artist and book sculptor who creates interactive book
sculptures and intriguing jewellery using traditional needlework techniques.
Don’t forget you will have access to both our current exhibitions, Revolution in the
Bedroom, War in the Playground in the main gallery which will close on 5 January 2014;
and Class of 2013 in the Roof Gallery, which will be open to the public until 19 January 2014.
