At [enter school/college name] we work closely with educational charity the EDT (Engineering
Development Trust), to encourage our students to learn more about and consider careers in Science,
Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) related industries. Participation in a range of taster,
project and placement programmes allows students to apply theory and develop essential skills
through practical experiences that take them outside of the classroom, helping them to gain
exposure to local industry and to make informed decisions about their future study and career
choices.
