Want Money for College? Register for COF! If you are considering going to college in Colorado, complete a COF application. It is fast and easy! What is COF? The College Opportunity Trust Fund (COF), created by the Colorado Legislature, provides money (called a stipend) to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend pays a portion of your total in-state tuition when you attend a Colorado public institution or a participating private institution. Who is eligible? Undergraduate students enrolled at state colleges and universities are eligible if they are classified as in-state students for tuition purposes. Eligible undergraduate students must apply, be admitted and enroll at a participating institution. What else do I need to know? Students must be 13 years or older to apply. Students 18 years or older are required to provide documentation to prove legal residence in the United States. Students are not required to know where they will attend school prior to completing the stipend application. What do I do?
