War Eagle Classic Rogers Heritage High School 1114 South 5th Street Rogers, AR 72756 Office: 479-631-3579 Mobile: 501-765-3317 eyates@rps.k12.ar.us The Heritage Debate & Forensics Team is honored and privileged to invite you to the War Eagle Classic and the War Eagle Classic Jr High Invitational on Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th. Please register using Joyoftournaments.com. Registration will open on October 23rd and will close November 6th at 6:00 PM. Sweeps will be calculated using squad efficiency method, and you must provide one qualified judge for every ten individual event entries and one qualified judge for every two debate teams. A $10 judging fee will be assessed for uncovered entries, and extra judges are always welcome! Shortage of judges is always a problem and uncovered entries may be limited. Students may enter multiple events in a given round, but double-entered policies must be followed, and rounds will not be extended beyond the scheduled time to accommodate students with multiple entries. Please encourage your students to be diligent in arriving to their events on time. Refunds will not be granted if students miss rounds due to multiple entries. There will also be no refunds for individual events dropped after registration closes. Awards will be given to all finalists in Individual Events and Debate events, and to the top three entries in group events. We will provide concessions for students and hospitality for all coaches, judges, and bus drivers. We ask that you please help support our program by eating from the concessions we provide rather than bringing outside food. Please inform your students and parents of this request. Also, please inform your team that food and drinks are not allowed in classrooms or in the auditorium. Please do not arrive on our campus before 4pm on Friday! Traffic is always an issue in NW Arkansas, especially on a Friday, so please allow enough time to arrive on our campus for registration so we can do our best to stay on schedule. Please review the rule changes and new ACTAA events for 2015-2016 at www.actaa.net. The attached schedule is tentative with times and IE patterns potentially changing after all entries are received. We can’t wait to see you all in November!
