The purpose of this project is to research a disease or abnormality related to tissues, organs, or systems in either plants or humans.
You will need to include the following information:
 Background information on your disease/abnormality (name(s), history, origins, discovery information,
etc.)
 Describe how the disease/abnormality specifically alters the tissues, organs of the plant or animal (i.e.
change in organ systems, tissue function, nervous systems changes, etc.)
 Explain if there are any medications, procedures or treatments for this disease/abnormality.
 Other interesting information, including pictures and/or diagrams.



To report this information you could use a fact sheet, pamphlet, video, news/magazine article, etc.
 You need to get approval for your topic and format from the teacher before you start your report.
 Your report should be about 300 – 800 words in length.
You also MUST include complete references (bibliography) for all information, including pictures/diagrams, on a separate page.
