ASSOCIATES OF NEW JERSEY
Our Associates throughout the various states are busy doing the works of the Lord
with joy and love.
Here is giving you an update on some of the ministries that go on in Burlington
County, N.J. Which include St. Katherine Drexel Parish (All Saints and St. Paul),
Resurrection Parish (St. Casmir and Holy Name) and Jesus, the Good Shepherd
(St. Peter and St. Joseph).
Loretta Abate, Delores Churry, Frances
Scartocci, Shirley Snow, and Olga
Wasielewski visit Marcella Nursing
Home to pray the rosary each month
with the residents who look forward to
their coming. The ladies also give office
assistance to their parish rectory once
a month.
Olga Wasielewski ministers for her
parish as sacristan, Eucharistic
minister at Mass and homes, as well.
Vincent de Paul Society at All Saints.
Other Eucharistic Ministers that serve
their parish both at Mass, Nursing
Homes and Our Lady of Lourdes
Hospital in Willingboro, NJ are Midge
Boyle, Libby Villari, Isabel Ricigliana, and Sharon Marino.
Sharon Marino is busy transporting young
women to the hospital to deliver their babies,
or to doctor’s appointments for Good Counsel
Home in Riverside. She also does volunteer
work at CODE BLUE HOMELESS SHELTER in
Delanco where she gets hot meals ready for
dinner and stays overnight. People in the
various towns also drop off food, clothing and
baby equipment to her home to be
distributed to Good Counsel Home.
Another associate, Barbara Winiarski, does Bereavement counseling for families
who have lost young children. She is a volunteer and consultant for HOPE NONPROFIT organization. Barb also does volunteer work at the food pantry for her
Church in Berlin, NJ. She and other Associates pray at the Abortion
Center near Cherry Hill, NJ.
Kathy Fletcher is presently the local minister of the Secular
Franciscan community in Haddonfield, NJ. It is here that she
shares the charism and spirituality of St. Francis.
Midge Boyle is an Associate who continues to provide religious articles to our
missions in Brazil and the Dominican Republic
Isabell Ricigliano is a Eucharistic minister at the
Masonic Home, Lourdes Hospital and the
Homebound of her parish. She activates phone
calls for those who have recently lost a loved one
in the parish. She also makes rosary beads for the
missions.
Josephine Morrison has been active with visiting the sick in her parish and doing
various parish activities. Presently, she is recuperating from an illness.
Jadja (Monica) Chojnacka is one of our
traveling prayer apostles. She has an
early morning holy hour at a nearby church
each week as well as travels all the way to
Doylestown to spend the night in prayer on
First Fridays. Her other ministry at present
is caring for sick family members. Jadja
loves to cook for us and we especially love
her soups.
