Refresh your links!
With the commencement of the PGPA Act on 1 July, many pages on the Finance website
www.finance.gov.au have either been replaced or updated. We recommend refreshing
any links in your browser’s history menu or favourites menu. This is particularly
important if you find that links to pages you normally visit are not working.
Resource Management guidance
A dedicated Commonwealth Resource Management Framework page has been created and
added to the Finance website. Among other things, the page lists information on the six
topics around which the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework is structured.
The topics include: Planning and Performance; Managing Risks and Internal Accountability;
Managing Money; Using Money; Managing Property; Working with others. More
information is provided under each of these topics. Entities can find out more about this
page by visiting http://www.finance.gov.au/resource-management/
FFSP Act and Regs on Comlaw
The Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997 (FFSP Act) has now been
published on Comlaw. The FFSP Act retains a few elements of the Financial Management
and Accountability Act 1997 and is now ensuring the continuation of a number of
Government arrangements, programmes and spending activities. The Financial
Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997 that supports the supplementary
powers of the FFSP Act is also now published on Comlaw.
