RULES & REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Venue, Dates & Timing
“KNIT WORLD INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 2016” will be held at Dana
Mandi, Bahadur Ke Road, Jalandhar Bye Pass Chowk, Ludhiana.
during January 15-18, 2016. Visitors will be allowed from 10.30 AM to 7.30 PM
during the exhibition.
Exhibitor
A company/organisation/association booking space for participation will be
called exhibitor.
Participation charges
1. Indian Participants
Raw Space @ Rs 3200/- per sq meter.
Shell stand @ Rs 3500/- per sq meter.
2. Foreign Participants
Raw Space @ US$ 105 per sq meter.
Shell stand @ US$ 110 per sq meter.

Shell stand will include three sides partition, fascia name, floor covering, three
spotlights, one 5 AMP socket, one trash bin, one table and two chairs
in 9 sq. meters. Power connection and consumption
charges will be extra.
Participation Payment Terms
•
Application for participation has to be submitted to organizer
along with 25% of participation charges.
•
Balance payment will be payable in 2 installments viz. 50%
before 15.11.2015 and 25% before 31.12.2015.
•
Participation will be accepted on first-come-first served basis.
•
Participation fee once paid will not be refundable.
Possession of Space
Possession to exhibitors taking bare space will be given after 9.00 a.m. on
January 13, 2016. For exhibitors under shell scheme possession will be given
after 9.00 a.m. on January 14 , 2016. The handing over of possession in both
cases will be subject to final payment of participation charges, catalogue entry
fee, power and compressed air or any other extra services etc.
Construction of stands
The interior design of the stand will have to be within the architectural controls
laid down by the organizer and design of the stand will have to be got approved from
organizers. Exhibitors who do not comply with these guidelines
and regulations will have to pay a penalty of ` 5,000/- US$ 125 and will run the
risk of closure of the stand by organizers. All construction material, waste and
empties etc. will be removed by 8 p.m. on January 18th 2016. Work regarding
construction of stands will be permitted within the stand area only or outside
the hall and in no case in the walkways in the Halls.
Stand completion
Stands will be completed by 8 PM on January 14, 2016
Operation of Stands
No stand will remain unattended. All stands must open at least half an hour
before the exhibition and shall remain open till half an hour after exhibition
time on each day.
Storage of exhibits & empties
No exhibits or empties will be stored behind the exhibition stands.
Vacation of space
Stands will have to be vacated under shell scheme and bare space latest by 5.00 p.m.

Damages to the Hall
Exhibitors will be required to make good all damages or make payment for
damages in the Halls, if any.
Sale of exhibits
No counter sales will be permitted during the exhibition.
Handling of exhibits, customs and import
Exhibitors can avail the services of only those cargo agents empanelled by the
Organizers. No other cargo agent will be allowed to enter/operate in the exhibition.
Insurance
Against all ascertainable risks from transportation to display and removal
should be done by exhibitor. Organizers will not be responsible for any claim.
All payments will be made either through a Bank draft or through a Bankers
cheque payable at Ludhiana and drawn in favour of
“THE JOURNAL’S PUBLICATION”, Ludhiana only.
Entry/Exit
Entry into fair ground will be on the basis of exhibitor passes issued by the organizers.
Each exhibitor will be entitled to 3 passes for 9 sq meter space. Entry of
vehicles in venue will not be permitted during exhibition hours and
other hours specified separately. Exit passes will be necessary for exhibits /
material to be taken out of fair ground.
FOREIGN EXHIBITORS can also send the payment through bank transfer. The

Violation of Rules
In the event of violation of any rules, Organizers will have the right to close down the
stall of the exhibitor.

Allocation of space
Organiser is solely authorized to accept the participation of any company worldwide.
Will have sole discretion in allocation of space. However, due
Consideration will be given to the choice and requirement of applicant.
Electricity & Power connection and consumption
Each Shell stand will be provided with three spot lights and a 5 AMP socket
per 9 sq mtr. For this facility the exhibitors will not be charged extra.
Those who require additional power and compressed air will have to
pay Rs 1500 / US$ 40 per H.P and for Compressed Air Rs 1500 / US$ 40 per H.P
plus taxes as applicable for four days. Exhibitors opting for bare space have
to pay for electricity/power connection and consumption as per the rates applicable.
Other services and facilities
A host of other services and facilities like Host/Hostess & security etc can
be availed on payment.
Disputes
Disputes, if any, arising out of unresolved matters between exhibitor and Organizers
shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and
Conciliation Act 1996. The arbitration proceedings will be conducted in English
and at Ludhaina, Punjab, India only.
Force Majeure
If the exhibition is abandoned, cancelled or suspended in whole or in part by
reasons of war, fire, national emergency, labour, non-availability of exhibition
premises or any other cause not within the control of Organizers. Organizers may, at its
own discretion, refund the rental paid by the exhibitor after adjusting the basic
expenses incurred or a part thereof, but Organizers shall be under no obligation to
refund any such rental and part thereof and shall be under no liability for any
actions, claims or losses.
