Cells and their Organelles

There are numerous organelles in cells, each of which has a specific purpose. Please use the Cell
Colouring pictures to represent each cell and complete the questions by defining the organelles as
requested. In some cases, an organelle has the same purpose in both cells so you do not have to repeat
the organelle or its function. Please also take special note of the organelles that are specific to a cell
type, either animal or plant.

If you would like to try and demonstrate your knowledge of cells and organelles in a different method,
please come and talk to me! Maybe you would like to create a 3d type cell model, a computer based
model, etc.
