Organelles of the Cell Create Your Own Study Tool Now that you have researched and found the functions for each of the organelles of the plant and animal cell you are going to create your own study tool. This can be a tool of your choice: Models, Flashcards, Flipbooks, Keynotes, Silly Songs, etc. Your study tool must contain two aspects: 1. A visual aspect that helps you to study the locations of the organelles within the cell. 2. A memorization aspect that helps you to study the functions of each of the organelles. The following rubric is one that has been used for a flipbook. As long as your project has a visual representation for each organelle and a correct description of each function your tool would receive the same points. Name (1), Function (2), and visual(2) List of Organelles: Cell Membrane (5) ____________ Nucleus (10) ____________ o Nucleolus o Chromatin o Nuclear Envelope Ribosomes (5) ____________ Endoplasmic Reticulum (10) ________ o Smooth ER o Rough ER Transport Vesicle (5) ____________ Golgi Apparatus (5) ____________ Lysosomes (5) ____________ Vacuoles (5) ____________ Peroxisomes (5) ____________ Mitochondria (5) ____________ Chloroplast (5) ____________ Cytoskeleton (10) ____________ o Microfilament o Intermediate Filament o Microtubule Cilia (5) ____________ Flagella (5) ____________ Total (Out of 85): ____________
