During the winter holidays, I went to Ireland with my Nan and her cousin. We left to go to the airport at 2 o’clock in the morning!!!! I was extremely drowsy; unfortunately, the taxi to the airport was an hour late! We paced through the airport once we got there. Luckily, our flight was delayed. I was falling peacefully to sleep when the flight board showed us the gate where our plane was. My Nan yanked me through all the sweaty, dull crowds of jetlagged people. Eventually we got to Ireland. I was able to catch up on my sleep has our coach whooshed pass the cow and sheep filled fields. My Nan originates from Gorey in County Wexford. Once we got of the cramped coach, I saw a boy who was about my age and he was smoking!!!! My aunty Helen picked us up and took us to Eire street (where my Nan’s house in Ireland was. Inside it was freezing and gloomy but we had a lovely full English fry up, which contains; eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns and fried bread. On the second Monday we were there was the best most marvellous day! My older cousin had won some tickets for six people (my cousins, all five of them, and I) for us to go on I blow up trampoline in the sea! First we put on our puffy life jackets and stumble into the speed boat. We were all so petrified because there was nothing to hold onto on the speed boat. Once on the trampoline, the man who was supervising us said that if we don’t jump into the sea in 10 seconds he would throw us in. There was also a rope swing that you had to jump on then jump into the sea!! THE END!!!!
