Profile
I am a motivated graphic designer possessing a passion for good design. I am seeking a
positive team environment filled with variety and a chaotic environment that comes with
a career in visual arts, marketing, promotions, and/or advertising. My strengths include
creative thinking, flexibility, timeliness, training skills, years of experience, excellent
customer service skills and I am a fantastic graphic designer. I have experience in print,
digital and multi-media environments. I am a user of current technology with a firm belief
in life long learning. Primary computer programs include Adobe Creative Suite,
Keynote/PowerPoint, Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office programs. I also have experience
using File Maker Pro, Final Cut Pro, FTP technology, stock photography, photography
direction and web design. Traditional art skills include painting, drawing, fiber arts,

Professional Skills
Management Experience:
I possess several years of experience managing a team of 10+ designers, multiple
computer workstations with both Macintosh and IBM operating systems, complete with
Xserve, Raid and tape back-up systems. Responsibilities included troubleshooting,
maintenance and purchasing for this network additionally, I have three years experience
managing a retail store with seven departments. Supervised a staff of fifteen.
Technical Experience:
Experience with concept mapping, multi-media, process printing, screen-printing,
catalog design, web design, sign making, wire framing and production art. Photography
skills in direction, layout and production. Photographed fashion compositions in directed
settings. Practical understanding of color separation and paste-up for print. Possess fluent
use of MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Adobe CSS Software (including
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver) and Acrobat Professional. Also
experienced with Keynote, FTP services, and Google apps.
Teaching/Training Experience:
Over ten years part-time experience teaching graphic design at Waukesha County
Technical College, Mount Mary University and the Art Institute of Milwaukee. Courses
taught include Ethics in Design, Color Theory, Photoshop, Digital Illustration and
Fundamentals of Design. Tutoring/training in current Adobe software. On-the-job Training
experience of new hires.
