He married Eliza Louisa Pritt in Braxton County VA (WV) September
11, 1845. Eliza was born in VA about 1828 and probably died about
1859. Thomas and Eliza had a daughter Mary reported in the 1850
Braxton County VA (WV) census. This daughter apparently died and he
and his second wife name a daughter Mary C.J. Also, the son Perry
reported in the 1850 Braxton census is believed to be the 24 year old
William P. listed in the 1870 Clay County WV census.
