The Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute and the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of
Medicine and Medical Center of the American University of Beirut, Beirut-Lebanon, are seeking
a Board Certified/Eligible Hematologist-Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
with clear interest and experience in hematologic malignancies and Bone Marrow
Transplantation. Applicants must have strong academic and clinical background. Additional postgraduate training and experience are highly desirable.
The newly established Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute has a brand new outpatient floor with
outpatient clinics, procedure rooms, and a large ambulatory chemotherapy unit. A brand new
inpatient unit hosts 36 beds and a state-of-the-art bone marrow transplantation unit. The position
carries a dual appointment in the Division of Hematology Oncology in the Department of Internal
Medicine and at the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute. Salary is commensurate with experience.
