ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITION
IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS AND ADOLESCENT MEDICINE

The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at The American University of Beirut
Medical Center is seeking a full-time specialist in pediatric cardiology at the level of assistant or
associate professor. Candidate must be certified by the American Subspecialty Board or
equivalent. His/her responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient care, resident supervision
and teaching of medical students and more as deemed appropriate by the Division Head. Previous
research and publications will constitute an asset in the selection process. The candidate is
expected to participate in the research activities of the division and eventually perform
independent research. The successful candidate will be appointed at the appropriate academic
rank and track.
