About Us
Nimbus Holdings Pvt. Ltd is a holding company (NIMBUS) with the aim of providing management
and consultant support in the areas of Human Resource, Agribusiness, Marketing, Administration,
Legal, Finance, and other common functions to companies under its management. The company
was registered in the name of Nimbus Marketing later it was renamed as Nimbus Holdings Pvt. Ltd
to fulfill its above mentioned objectives.
History
Nimbus Marketing was founded in the year 1998 as a partnership with an objective of import and
export of various consumer products (foodstuffs). The original activities of the company consisted
mostly of the import of consumer goods such as confectionary from India and distributed all over
the country through retail and wholesale. During its initial phase the company was started with
only three people. It gradually shifted its business to agribusiness sector. It started to import
soyacake and maize from India and distributed all over Nepal.
Nimbus International Company P. Ltd was established in 2000. It mainly deals with trading of
animal health and nutrition. It imports vitamins, vaccines and veterinary medicines from
multinational companies like ELANCO USA, Adisseo FRANCE, Alltech USA, Merial FRANCE and used
its rural distribution network to market these products all over the country. It also started a feed
supplement manufacturing unit, focusing on exports to India, graduated to marketing feed
supplements in the local markets by creating an effective rural distribution network. All these
activities and experience led to the path of setting up, Probiotech Industries Pvt. Ltd in 2004, the
first pellet feed mill in Nepal.
It is the first feed industry to receive ISO 9001: 2008 certification. Shakti is the largest selling
animal feed brand in Nepal with 25% of the market share. It is the first brand to be certified Nepal
Standard (NS-11) and NS Quality Award.
Within a short span of its establishment; the company has diversified its business into different
sectors. It established National Polyplast Pvt. Ltd which manufactures poly woven fabrics. It also
ventured in LPG business acquiring Sambriddhi Gas Udhyog and Nepal Gas. Beside production and
distribution it is also involved in service sectors. It has its own company Green Invest Limited for
investment banking and advisory. It has started Nine Nepal, the first organized car rental and
leasing services in Nepal and travel agency named Avalon Travel & Tour to provide a complete
travel services.

Today, combined, we are approx. NRs 6.00 Billion business with more than 500 employees, a sales
team of 60 with 14 depots, 110 dealers, and 500 sub-dealers across the country. We reach out to
8000+ farmers in 65 districts of Nepal. Our employee base comprises of experts from the related
industries, including veterinarians, JTAs, Engineers, MBA graduates, Chartered Accountants,
Agricultural and Financial consultants. We work or have worked with companies like Suguna,
Godrej, Shanthi Fortune, Ranbaxy (VENTEX-Pfizer) in India, some of the large ones in our sector,
which has sharpened our business acumen, insight, appetite and also skills.

Quality Policy
We all are committed to meet the challenge of today’s market by consistently producing Quality
products at affordable price.
At NIMBUS, quality has always been a first priority. Quality of the products can be upgraded only by
knowing it, so we have many firsts in the industry on storage facilities and lab equipments for the
purpose. We have a full-fledged Wet Chemistry Laboratory, High Performance Liquid
Chromatography (HPLC) Lab and Near Infra Red (NIR) Lab which ensures thorough quality test of
our products before they are launched in the market.
At National Polyplast (Plastic Processing), we have Wrap Reel Machine, Electronic Weighing
Balance, Electronic Tensile Tester Machine for Tape, Tensile Tester Machine for Fabric and Micro
Gauge Meter to measure thickness of tape. These tests enable the stricter control on raw material
selection and quality control of finished goods.
Beside strongly focused on technology for achieving high quality product, we believe that
commercial aspect is as important as technology. So we have focused on techno-commercial
approach to get the desirable outcome.

Management
Chairman
Jagdish Prasad Agrawal is the chairman of Nimbus. He had spent most of his life working for other
companies. His stint with Nepal Brewery exposed him to the world of business and provided him
the technical skills. With this skill he together with his son had started ball pen manufacturing
company as their first venture. Though they failed to make a mark in their first venture they kept
exploring for new areas. They moved into the livestock business which was not planned but was an
accident. With his strong determination and dedication the company has achieved a huge success in
agro and livestock business in Nepal. Till date he has been actively involved in different
associations. He was a President of Nepal Beverage Association, Management Association of Nepal
(MAN), Vice President of Confederation of Nepalese Industries, General Secretary of Federation of
Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FNCCI), Nepal-US Chamber of Commerce &
Industries, Exec. Member of MAN, FNCCI, Member of National Tripartite Committee on Labor
Matters, National Minimum Wage Committee, Prime Minister’s Central Committee on
Administrative Reforms and Tax advisory committee attached to Finance Ministry of Nepal. He has
attended many National and International seminars on Labor and Economic issues and presented
papers on these matters on behalf of FNCCI, CNI and other institutions. His dedication and way of
working has set an example to the whole Nimbus family.
Managing Director
Anand Bagaria is a well known figure among the business communities and entrepreneurs in Nepal.
He is the Managing Director of Nimbus, which ranks among the leading and innovative business
houses in Nepal. After completing his engineering he was into the import and distribution of FMCG
products and set up a manufacturing unit of writing instruments. This could not make a mark but
he did not stop and kept exploring for new areas. He recognized the opportunity in poultry sector
even though he knew nothing about poultry and the technical aspects of the industry but he came
into this sector with hard work and strong determination. Under his leadership Nimbus has
transformed to a cumulative of Rs. 6 billion company. Today Nimbus is the largest animal nutrition
and pellet feed manufacturer in the country.

Executive Director
Umang Bagaria was born in Kathmandu, Nepal on the 19th of July. Having studied the first few years
at Modern Indian School, he went to Bishop Cotton Boys School, Bangalore and then graduated
from Symbioses College, Pune. He then embarked to Sydney to complete his MBA with a major in
Finance. He worked at Westpac Banking Corporation as treasury and derivatives executive and
then had a stint with Commonwealth bank of Australia in the middle office for trading of
derivatives. He returned home after his stint in Sydney and worked as the Executive director at
NIMBUS currently handling the plastics and trading division.
Head Corporate Finance
Mansi Tayal Bagaria was born on 20th August 1981. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession
and has completed her education in Delhi, India. She started her career with Perot Systems India
(now Dell Systems) in 2003 as a MIS Analyst and moved on to Credit Rating Industry in 2004. She
has worked with CRISIL (a subsidiary of Standard and Poor’s) and FITCH ratings as a Senior
Manager for 6 years. In the Credit Rating she has handled a vast portfolio covering large to midsized
companies in the fertilizer, IT, education, paint, textile, Plastics, Chemicals sector as well as rated
conglomerates like Godrej & Boyce, Aditya Birla Nuvo etc. She shifted to Nepal in 2010 and
thereafter joined NIMBUS where she currently heads the finance operations.
Chief Operating Officer
Soban L. Shrestha has been associated with NIMBUS as Chief Operating Officer since 2 years. He
holds Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maharashtra and EMBA
from Pokhara University. Previously he has worked with Vibor Properties as a Chief Functional
Officer, CG Foods, Fudco Nepal as a General Manager, Coca Cola SABCO as a Chief Technical
Manager and many other reputed organizations. He holds an experience of over 19 years.
Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Dinesh Gautam is a Chief Sales and Technical Officer at NIMBUS and has been associated since
10 years. He holds Bachelor in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Institute of
Agriculture and Animal Science, Rampur Campus and currently he is doing an EMBA from
Kathmandu University.

Nimbus is an umbrella company which has following investments across diverse business areas:
Agribusiness, Solvent Extraction & Animal Nutrition – Probiotech Industries Pvt. Ltd
Probiotech Industries is the first feed industry to receive ISO 9001: 2008 and NS certification. It has
the latest pelleting plant with autobatching facility producing 300 MT of feed every day. “Shakti” is
the largest selling animal feed brand in Nepal with 25% of the market share of feed in Nepal.
Probiotech deals with approximately 20 products in animal feed, another 20 in feed supplements
and around 20 more in fine chemicals, vaccines and medicines. It’s the largest importer of fine
chemicals for animal nutrition in Nepal. It has the largest and most advanced grain storage facility,
SILO, of 25,000 MT at any point of time.
In an aim of business integration and expansion, Probiotech has installed a state of art soybean
extraction plant in the manufacturing premises. The soybean by-product is used in feed mill for
feed production as well as sold in the market under the brand name SOYMAX. It is a trusted brand
in its segment and widely accepted by the industry leaders.
The feed production facility is well equipped with a fully functioning laboratory where extensive
research and development activities are carried out. A full-fledged Wet Chemistry Laboratory, High
Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPCL) Lab and Near Infra Red (NIR) Lab ensures thorough
quality test of our products before they are launched in the market. This further eliminates the
lengthy wet chemistry process which takes days to compete. Multiple parameters can be checked
in just 5 minutes. These tests enable the stricter control on raw material selection and quality
control of finished goods.
Poly Woven Fabric Production – National Polyplast Pvt. Ltd
With a view to manufacture Polypropylene, HDPI, HDPEHM, plastic film, tube, liner, bags, sacks etc
National Polyplast Industries Pvt. Ltd (NPP) was established in the year 2000 under a partnership
starting with a single tape line and looms resulting in a production capacity of 2400 MT annually.
Thereafter it was expanded to 4800 MT annually in the year 2004 and the third expansion was
achieved in the year 2006 to produce 6000 MT per annum. NPP has one of the largest production
capacities in Nepal with an annual turnover of 1 billion. Its products are mainly exported in India
and Nepal. It produces high quality poly woven fabrics which are supplied to industries like animal
feed, fertilizers, cement, grain packaging etc. It is also in process of setting of a bag printing and
conversion lines to cater to the end consumer directly.

NPP directly involves 450 staff running the unit 24 hours a day. It was recently awarded by the
Birgunj Chamber of Commerce as the highest exporter in its category in Birgunj.
This is an ISO certified plastic processing plant.

To provide a complete travel service in Nepal with expertise in travel, tour and hospitality Avalon
Travels and Tours Pvt. Ltd was established in 2009. Impelled with challenge, Avalon Travels and
Tours strive to provide new products and services to tourism sector in Nepal.

LPG Bottling and Distribution – Nepal Gas Pvt. Ltd & Sambriddhi Gas Udhyog Pvt. Ltd
Apart from service and production it is also involved in refilling and sale of Liquid Petroleum Gas. It
acquired Sambriddhi Gas Udhyog in 2009 and Nepal Gas in 2011. Together we are the market
leader in terms of filling capacity, storage facility and the largest bottler of LPG in the country with a
total circulation of 450,000 cylinders and distributor network spread across the nation.
It makes direct sale to around 65 institutional customers, which include all star hotels, major food
chains, US embassy, British and UN offices etc.
Trading – Nimbus International Co. Pvt. Ltd
To carry out the business of import and distribution of animal feed supplements, feed grains,
veterinary treatment products and other agri inputs it has a trading company, Nimbus International
Company (P) Ltd. In addition to agri inputs trading it is also involved in selling of bitumen, PVC
coated fabrics, tarpaulin.
Tender Business
Besides, our expertise includes tender bidding and we have participated in Government tender
calls. We bid tender not less than NRs 15 million and our scope of tender includes agri-products
such as fertilizer, pesticide, farm-machinery, electronics, equipments related to telecom.

News & Events
To strengthen the poultry industry Nimbus has been contributing in every possible way. It has been
regularly conducting training to its poultry and livestock farmers and dealers across the country.
Some National and international organizations have been collaborating with NIMBUS to provide
trainings to poultry farmers. Nimbus has associated with Practical Action, an NGO in a project
funded by IFC (International Finance Corporation, part of World Bank), to provide training on
poultry management.
Future Plans
In the immediate future, NIMBUS eyes plans production of Alkyd Resins at Hetauda with annual
production capacity of 3500 MT. The Alkyd Resin that we will produce are Long Oil Alkyd Resin,
Medium Oil Alkyd Resin and Short Oil Alkyd Resin. It is planning to sale and support of heavy
commercial vehicles and structured techno-commercial agri input retailing.
NIMBUS is also working on an ambitious project to bring farm produce to the dining table, by
means of integrating with the farmers, input providers and retailing. This project will entail
livestock and agri processing, storage, logistics and retailing in a participative manner with the
farmers on one end and retailers on the other. It is also working towards becoming 10-billion
companies by 2015.
