Obituary for John Doe
John Doe passed away on December 12, 2012 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital,
surrounded by family. John fought the good fight but complications from lung cancer
overwhelmed him. John was the beloved husband of Susan, and the adoring father of
Michelle. He was the youngest of four children of the Doe family. A devoted college
football fan of the Northwestern Wildcats, John played varsity football for four years at
St. George College. A Northsider by birth, John was an avid Sudoku player who
looked forward to his daily puzzle ritual. He was also a lifelong lover of dogs, most
recently spending time with his daughter’s dog, a wire-haired terrier. All who knew
him will miss his generosity of spirit and commanding physical presence.
