Mary Cobb has died and her funeral is at Haltemprice on Friday 12th at 10.30
Kathleen Hennessy has died and her Funeral will be at St Joseph’s on Thursday April 11th
At 10.30
Pat Fricker died on 3rd April and Peter Nicholls died on 4th April.
At the time of printing these notices we do not know the dates of Mrs Fricker’s or Mr Nicholls
funerals, but these will be announced as soon as possible

Many thanks to Margaret Brett for the lovely flowers at Goole, and to Anne and Kath for the
lovely flowers at Howden. And to Peter Netherwood for the marvellous banner and posters,
and to Anne Hollingworth for her beautiful singing of the Exultet.
Thanks also to our Altar Servers and to our organists , Stuart and Margaret.
Thankyou to Douglas Boardman for his assistance at the Vigil Mass and to John Hall for
leading the Good Friday Passion in Howden.
Thankyou to Martin Brett for covering and uncovering all the statues and crucifixes at Goole
and to Kath and Anne at Howden.

The Raffle at St Joseph’s raised £ 179.70. Thankyou to all who donated prizes.
We offer a warm welcome and our prayers to Tracey Worswick who is received into our

ST JOSEPH’S CHURCH is 100 years old in April and we would like to celebrate this historic
date sometime during the year and are appealing for photographs or any other memorabilia of
either St Thomas’ or St Joseph’s Church . If you can help, please see Carol Howard.

DIAMOND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. We offer them our congratulations and every

THE BEGINNINGS OF THE CHURCH AND THE START OF HER MISSION TO
ALL PEOPLES AND NATIONS.
THE COLOUR FOR EASTER IS WHITE AND THE PASCAL CANDLE RESIDES
NEAR THE LECTERN THROUGHOUT THE SEASON. THE GLORIA AND THE
ALLELUIAS ARE PART OF THE SUNDAY LITURGY.
