Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities: % Time (approx.) Assist the WTCRF nurses with the final clinical assessments of the Asthma Brushings Cohort (ABC) including interpretation of clinical assessments. Assist the WTCRF nurses with the iFAAM food challenges including interpretation of results. Assist with recruitment of iFAAM participants and their study assessments as required. 20% Liaise with Brook laboratory staff on the ABC study data to analyse, interpret and prepare reports for publication. 20% Assist in the analysis, interpretation and report writing for the iFAAM study 20% To assist (where deemed appropriate by the primary supervisor) with other research studies ongoing in the paediatric allergy and respiratory group in order to improve the quality of those research studies. 5% Paediatric allergy and respiratory medicine clinic (approximately 2 per month) 5% To comply with approvals/guidelines pertinent to Good Clinical Practice. 1 10% 20% Internal & External Relationships: (nature & purpose of relationships) The clinical research fellow will interact with the following people, who will undertake these respective roles: Overall supervision of project will be undertaken by Professor Graham Roberts ABC Study team: Ruth Morris (WTCRF), Donna Davies and colleagues (Brook laboratory) iFAAM Study team: Erin Oliver (study coordinator), Kate Grimshaw (study dietician/nutritionist), Emma Mcleod (WTCRF) and Jane Martin (WTCRF) Suzie Cake, Clinical Trials Coordinator for iFAAM and ABC studies, WTCRF NHS Paediatric allergy and respiratory teams Special Requirements: Must be able to undertake all aspects of the project following appropriate training.
