ATTENTION ALL SENIORS…….A reminder about 2 items regarding Seniors that are taking place next week. Representatives from JOSTENS will be at Roman during all lunches on Monday, November 18th to take Senior Cap and Gown Measurements. All SENIORS must stop by the JOSTENS table during your lunch on Monday to be measured for your cap and gown. GURSCIK STUDIOS-will be at Roman on Wednesday, November 20th to take a Panoramic Picture of the Senior Class. We will be on a SPECIAL SCHEDULE that day. The Panoramic Picture will be taken in the gym during homeroom (9:34-10:00AM). All Seniors are reminded that they must be in complete Winter Dress Code. All Seniors must be cleanly shaven and their hair must be neatly groomed. Information sheets and envelopes regarding this Panoramic Picture will be distributed in the Senior Homerooms. Please bring this information home with you to your parents/guardians. Envelopes and payment are to be brought with you and handed in the day of the picture. Blue Mass of Thanksgiving Our annual Blue Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated at the Cathedral-Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul at 10AM on Wednesday, November 27th. In addition to being thankful for all our blessings, this will be a time to express thanks and gratitude to the members of our Police and Fire Departments for their dedication and sacrifice each and every day. We would like to honor the parents of our Roman students who are serving in the Police and Fire Departments. Students whose parents serve in the Police and Fire Departments are asked to sign-up their parents in the Office of Student Affairs. In order that we can have ample time to plan for this event, students are asked to sign-up their parents in the Student Affairs Office. Best Buddies- Roman is forming a Best Buddies organization. We are partnering with children that have intellectual challenges. This is a great opportunity to become a better person and to help those in need. There will be a mandatory meeting on Friday, November 15 in room 61 immediately after 8th period. All are welcome!!!!!! Asian Cultures Club - The Asian Cultures Club would like to thank everyone who participated in the 1st annual Dragon Dodgeball event on Wednesday. Stay tuned for more events in December! Wrestling - It's not too late to join the wrestling team! There will be a meeting TODAY after school at McSherry Hall in the wrestling room for anyone who wants to join the team. Bowling – A final reminder that Roman bowling is starting Monday, November 18th, at Pep Bowl, 1200 S. Broad St. There is still room if you decide you would like to bowl this year. Again, physicals need to be turned in to Mr. Eaves before you can bowl. No Exceptions! Coach Wildes will meet everyone in the cafeteria on Monday to head down together. Also, parents or guardians need to pick you up from bowling. You cannot go home on your own. Bowling starts at 3:30 PM and ends at 6:00 PM.
