CENTRAL TECH CHOICES SCHOLARSHIP Attention Seniors: Central Tech is
offering the Choices Scholarship to graduating seniors who would like to take Adult
courses in the 2014-2015 school year. The scholarship is valued at $1575. That will cover
the cost of students attending full time for one year or part-time students for 2 years.
Applications are available in the attendance office or from Mrs. Romine in room 417.
NSU COLLEGE VISIT The NSU College visit is rescheduled for May 12th. You must be
eligible and have returned permission slip to attend. Open to all grades. Sign up in the
Attendance Office.
DRIVER'S EDUCATION You may pick up Summer's Drivers Ed forms in the
Attendance office beginning Monday, April 28th. There will be 3 sessions in June and 2 in
July. Cost is $175.00 and is payable upon application turned in, there are NO FREEBIES!.
You must be 15 and have passed the 8th grade reading test, before your application is
accepted. First come first serve.
PING TRY OUTS Ping Try Out packets are located in the Main Office. Deadline is May
9th with try-out clinic May 12th-14th. Auditons after school on Wednesday May 14th.
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS “Sapulpa High Athletes: Physicals will be held in the
Chieftain Center on May 15th, 2014 at 4:45pm. Physicals will cost $20.00. Physical
Packets are available at the Chieftain Center or you may down load the forms on
www.sapulpaps.org . All athletes must dress in athletic apparel (shorts and t-shirt) for
examinations.”
8th GRADE READING TEST If you need to retake the 8th grade reading test it will
be offered May 8th at 3:10 pm in Room 607.
SENIORS ON HOLD Seniors - if you are on the Hold List, you will NOT be issued rain
out tickets for Graduation.
DRUG TESTING Summer sport athletic and band drug testing is scheduled for May
15th 2pm until 6pm. This is required for all students participating in summer sports and
band. The cost of the drug test is $10.00. Please hydrate during the school day and come
prepared to take the test. We will accept cash or checks. If you have any questions, see
Mrs. Woolery in the Nursing office.
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS School physicals will be on the 15th of May at 4:45pm.

Baccalaureate You are invited to the Class of 2014 Baccalaureate. The ceremony is
this Sunday, may 11th at 2:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. This is a Cap and Gown
event. Your families and friends are invited and more than welcome to come. No tickets
are needed for this event so invite as many as you would like. This is a completely student
focused event sponsored by the Sapulpa Ministerial Alliance, who would love for all of you
to come. Please arrive about 15 minutes early so you can come in together as the Class of
2014.
Senior Powder Puff Senior Powder Puff ractice will be held this Friday at 4:30.
POPS CONCERT The High School and Junior High School Vocal Music Department will
present its annual Pops Concert on Thursday night, May 8, in Shaw Auditorium at 7 PM.
Everyone is invited to both performances and also encouraged to come early and visit the
Annual Art Show, on one or both nights, in the High School Gym. It’s a great way to
support Sapulpa High School students and enjoy fantastic music and art! See you there!
BASEBALL TRYOUTS Sapulpa baseball will be having tryouts for all students from
Sapulpa and surrounding schools that will be 8th and 9th graders in the next school year
on Wednesday May 13th from 4-5:30. Must tryout to be put on roster for baseball for next
year. Coach Moore,Horn,Rossman, Shibley will do evaluations on each player..
SENIORS AND SCHOLARSHIPS Seniors - if you have received any non-local
scholarships and have not turned in a copy to Mrs. Lawson in the High School Attendance
office, please do so by this Thursday afternoon. All non-local scholarships received will go
in the Senior Assembly written program and if we don't know about it, it won't make it in
the program.
ANIME CLUB There is no Anime Club this Thursday due to the art show.
VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS Volleyball tryouts will be May 13th, 3:30-5:00 pm at the
Washington Gym. Bring shorts and tennis shoes to tryout in. Ask a current player if you
have any questions.
FALL COLOR GUARD TRYOUTS Tryouts for the Fall Color Guard will be next MonWed May 12-14. Open to current 8th-11th grade boys and girls. Our new directors will
host clinic on Monday & Tuesday 3:15-5:00pm with tryouts on Wednesday in Woodlawn
gym. Let’s fill the field this fall!
SENIOR ASSEMBLY PRACTICE Rehearsal for the Talent portion of the Senior
Assembly is tomorrow, Friday, May 9th at 3:15 in the auditorium. Seniors who are
performing MUST be at the rehearsal!
Senior Morning Tech Students All Senior morning tech students will need to
report to the Auditorium at 9:00. Do not report to Central Tech.
