9th & 10th Grade Tournament 2015

Western Springs Association Football Club would like to invite your club to its 9 th and 10 th Grade Mixed tournament. The focus is around providing a competitive tournament with a festival atmosphere.

Seddon Fields, Meola Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland.

ENTRY

The closing date for entries is Friday 21st August

2015.

The entry fee of $125 per team must be made by

Friday 28th August 2015.

To ensure your place in the tournament please register your interest as soon as possible. We will confirm if you have a place.

FORMAT

7-aside with rolling subs, maximum of 10 players in the squad. 9th grade players must be born on/after 1st January 2006 and 10th grade players must be born on/after 1st January 2005.

Both grades use size 4 ball.

Coaches meeting at 8:30 am, first games start at 9 am.

All matches are 12 minutes each way with 2 minutes for half time.

Games will be played on the artificial turf.

Each team will need to supply a referee for each of their pool matches. Team referees will be required to referee half a match for each pool game. WSAFC will provide neutral Referees for the knock out quarter, semi and final matches.

We will have a variety of food and drink options available throughout the day.

We will accept entries for more than one team per club. If entering multiple teams, please rank your teams.

Medals for runners-up of the Championship and Plate

Certificates will be given to all players

TURF RULES

Please respect our facilities and artificial turf, with the following four simple rules:

1.

Only turf boots or moulded studs may be worn.

2.

Only water allowed on the pitches. No fizzy drinks, energy drinks, coffee or any other hot drinks.

3.

No food – no lollies, fruit, or food of any kind.

4.

Only players, coaches and managers are allowed on the turf and ALL must be wearing the appropriate footwear.
