JUNIOR Super Summer 7’S Tournament Competition Rules TEAMS MUST BE OF JUNIOR GRADE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SUPER SUMMER 7’S TOURNAMENT – this will be checked and confirmed with the relevant governing County Board. Please state your grade on entry form Times of the games – groups will comprise of 4-5 teams / 10 OR 12 mins per half depending on entries) Three minutes half time break. A list of 15 players to be supplied to the organising committee on or before first match Unlimited substitution can be made during stoppages with the consent of the referee. Batons to be passed between the players going on to the player going off without stoppages (player with baton is not in play) A team fielding 15 minutes late is liable to disqualification subject to the decision of the official in charge of the ground. Teams with the highest points will be group winners; If teams are level on points, then winner of the game between these 2 teams goes through. (3 points for a win / 1 point for a draw / 0 points for a loss) If the head to head game is a draw, then the team with the greatest number of scores wins. E.g. Clarecastle From Co Clare 2-4 Sliabh Rua from Cork 3 – 1. Clarecastle from Clare will go through to next round as 6 scores versus Corks 4. In the event of a draw in the knockout stages, 12 minutes extra time will be played. (6 mins a side) In the event of a draw following extra time, extra time will resume with the first team to record a score deemed the winner. ‘Golden Score’ The goalkeeper may not be tackled in the square while in possession of the ball. Referees are required to submit a report of each game to the organising official at each venue directly after each match. Should a player be put off during the course of a match, she may not play for the remainder of the competition and her club may only use the 14 players remaining on the panel. The player shall then be dealt with under rules of An Cumann Camógaiochta in relation to red card offenses……. All puc-outs must be taken from the square. Any disputes shall be brought to the organising committee and any decision taken by the committee is final. Normal Camogie playing rules will apply in all other cases. Decisions in relation to grading are adjudicated on by the relevant governing County Board. The organising committee appoints the tournament referees. Referees will be suitably qualified (Camogie Referees)
