bronchoscopies, performing Blind-B.A.L’s via directional catheter, familiarity in using weaning
protocols, the ARDS-Net protocol, and using the facilities alveolar recruitment protocol.
 Experience in the following intensive care units: Medical ICU, Coronary Care ICU, Neurology ICU,
Neuro-Trauma ICU, and Liver Transplant ICU, and Level 1 Trauma Center/Emergency Room.
 Ventilator experience with the following: Puritan Bennett 840 and 7200, Servo I and 300C,
Draeger Evita 4, Esprit, Bi-pap Vision, and Nitric Oxide Therapy.
 Orientated new staff and students throughout institution.
 Selected by supervisors to represent the department at a UPMC sponsored transplant facility in
Palermo, Sicily for a three month assignment.
 Responsibilities included training current and new staff, implementing proper policy and
