Our status is voluntary and the 24 Members of the Board are renewed, in thirds, every 3 years. We concentrate on main 16 themes: the protection of biodiversity; transport and mobility, energy, health / environment, oceans, etc. FNE is a member of several European federations: European Environmental Bureau; Transport & Environment; Seas at Risks; HEAL. Having at its core concern for the human condition, FNE is a civil society actor for which dialogue is a fundamental way of operating. We are represented in several hundred institutional commissions, from local to national level. When the environment is threatened and that all other actions have failed, FNE also use all legal means at its disposal. What do I do? Being a chemical engineer, who has made a career in a multinational manufacturer of synthetic chemicals, I have been a committed volunteer in different structures of the FNE movement for over 20 years, from local to national level. I have also been an FNE representative on the Board of Transport & Environment. My main interests are transport and mobility, along with all directly related subjects: energy, environmental health, economics and taxation. Responsible for all "sustainable transport and mobility" activities within FNE, I have managed many projects in relation to major French economic actors: i.e. SNCF, PSA and Waterways France. I this capacity, I have also served as a Director of the SNCF (2008-2013) and Director of the Agency for Environment and Energy Management Agency - ADEME (2007- 2012). Currently I am the Vice-President of FNE and I am concentrating on the preparation of the COP21 in December 2015 in Paris. URL: http://www.fne.asso.fr
