Christmas Parade of Lights

The West Jefferson Christmas in the Park is an annual event enjoyed by the Village
residents as well as those who visit our town to see the fantastic lighting display in Garrette
Park. Each year, as more lights and effects are added, the park is transformed into a
winter wonderland indeed!
The line-up for the “Christmas Parade of Lights” will begin at 4 p.m. and the parade will
start at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at the American Legion parking area, 9701 West
Broad Street (Route 40). The entrance is beside the used car lot. Upon leaving the line-up
area, the parade will turn left on Route 40 (Main St.) and will travel West, turning left on
Twin Street. The parade will end at the intersection of Twin Street and Fellows Avenue.
We would appreciate the favor of a reply by December 5, 2014, and have enclosed an
envelope for your convenience in returning your entry information. We look forward to
having you join us on December 13th.
