Day 3 – Erosion
 Answer questions 8-9 on Natural Processes Booklet independently.

Day 4 – Deposition
 Answer questions 10-11 on Natural Processes Booklet Sheet independently.
 Use Natural Processes Prezi to discuss deposition and the effects it has on Earth’s surfaces.
Day 5 & 6 – Rock Writing
 Students will write a narrative about a rock as it is weathered, eroded, and deposited.



Students will demonstrate an understanding of weathering, erosion, and deposition by providing definitions and
examples in their writing.
Writings will be scored using a provided rubric.
This will count as a major test grade.
Day 7 – Landslides
 Complete landslides section on Natural Processes Booklet independently.

Day 11 & 12 – Chart Sequencing Review
 Groups (or individuals) will be given cards with descriptions of major natural processes (floods, earthquakes,
landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions) and will have to categorize them as weathering, erosion, or deposition,
along with sequence them in the correct order.
 Students will then choose one row of the cart to go into more detail about as a review for the test.
