In your presentation you will have to discuss the following points:

the historical setting

the main characters
3
an outline of the story
4
one or more literary terms such as: ballad, legend, epic poem, chivalry,
allegory, frame story, myth and morality play
Each member of the group will have to research one aspect of the assignment. You are
responsible for the 10-minute presentation as a group.
There are some compulsory items:

images of the main characters

images of the main events
4
sound fragments of readings (if available)
5
film fragments (if available)
6
is the work still relevant today
The Powerpoint presentation or short movie are the focus of your assignment. Sounds and
images must do the work for you, not the text (either spoken or written).
BEOWULF

Read the Prologue and the books that deals with the quest and the Holy Grail and Arthur's
death (Books 1, 3, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 21).

Read the five ballads that deal with Maid Marian, Little John, The Golden Arrow and Birth,
