Keon DATE: December 21, 2012 RE: Restructuring of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs Restructuring of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs: Creating a Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Earlier this year we discussed merging Enrollment Management with Student Affairs since we were hiring a replacement for Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. In consultation with Dr. Rogers, we felt that the span of control was too overreaching to keep Enrollment Management within Academic Affairs. Thus, we will create a new Division and recruit a Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. In assessing the current structure, Dr. Rogers, Dr. Howard and I recommend the following changes: Merging with Student Affairs, creating the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs will include: o o o o o Office of Recruitment and Admissions Office of Financial Aid Office of Student Accounts Office of Registration Testing Center Remaining with Academic Affairs: o The Center for Student Achievement (CSA) o The Academic Learning Center Informational Bulletin #8 FY 12-13 These changes will be implemented as of January 1, 2013 with Dr. Sarah Howard serving as Interim Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.
