Yerraguntla mandal is having diversified agro climate which comes under
semi arid climatic zone with scanty rainfall and soils are of Black cotton soils,
loamy soils, and a few red soils areas upto some extent covering a total of
geographical area of 24,995 ha cultivating of about 5-6 major crops such as
Paddy,Cotton in Kharif and Sesamum, Bengal gram during rabi seasons.A detail
