The experiment was conducted in Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology Laboratory, BCKV,
Kalyani, West Bengal under the guidance of Prof. S. K. Duttaray, Professor, Deptt. of Fruits
and Orchard Management, Faculty of Horticulture, BCKV.

Physiological studies on sunburning and fruit cracking and development of protocol
for delayed harvesting in litchi.
The research programmes on various aspects was carried out at experimental plots at HRS,
Mondouri, Nadia, BCKV, under the guidance of. Prof. S. K. Mitra, Professor, Deptt. of Fruits
and Orchard Management, Faculty of Horticulture, BCKV and World Chair, Tropical & Sub
Tropical Fruits Section, ISHS, Belgium.

consecutive years in 2005 and 2006.
1 year practical experience on Tissue culture and Molecular Biology during 200405 at Tissue culture and Molecular Biology Laboratory, Kalyani, Nadia, W.B.
3 years Ph.D Research experiences on “Physiological studies on sunburning and
fruit cracking and development of protocol for delayed harvesting in litchi” as a
Senior Research Fellow in a project sponsored by APEDA, Ministry of Commerce
and Industry, Govt. of India, in Horticultural Research Station at Mondouri,
B.C.K.V.
2 year 6 months teaching & research experience in BSc. MSc. integrated programme in
Horticulture in Sikkim University (A Central University), Govt. Of India.
3 months research experience as Project Scientist in PFDC, IIT Kharagpur, West
Bengal.
