Cad Zone (CZ) Point Cloud Importance of Printed Diagrams Why Cad Zone Point Cloud Software Cad Zone Point Cloud software gives the user a significant advantage over Cyclone. CZ Point Cloud It is a perfect compliment to Crash Zone or Crime Zone diagramming software. Drawing inside the point cloud is easy and quick. The tools in CZ Point Cloud are familiar to users and require almost no additional training. It is very easy and quick to trace lines, draw roadways, create buildings, build rooms, and much more. Why Diagrams Diagrams deliver a tangible mode of viewing the evidence. Whether printed on paper or viewed in a PDF file, diagrams are essential and reliable. Diagrams are the only way to illustrate complex mechanisms of a Forensic Analysis such as vectors, momentum, time/distance, blood spatter or bullet trajectories to mention a few. Cad Zone Point Cloud is an essential part of any Forensic Analysis using scanned data. Point clouds are impressive to a trained observer. But experience in visualizations has revealed that the lay viewer, such as jurors, have little idea what they are looking at when viewing point cloud data alone. The addition of diagrams to accompany point cloud data assists the viewer in a more complete understanding all of the evidence. Diagrams are the only way to illustrate technical Forensic Analysis; it cannot be done using Cyclone software alone. What is Cyclone and TruView Cyclone Leica Cyclone is software required to extract and convert the data from a laser scanner so it can be viewed or exported for use in other applications. Leica TruView and Cyclone-PUBLISHER Leica Cyclone-PUBLISHER publishes point cloud data for web-based sharing and viewing in TruView software. In TruView, users can extract real 3D coordinates and accurately measure distances. Cyclone and Forensic Analysis There are many limitations with Cyclone software when it comes to Forensic Analysis of Crash and Crime scenes. While you must use Cyclone software, it was not initially created for forensic work; it was intended for visual design engineering, such as HVAC. For now, Cyclone is important for the purpose of stitching more than one scan together as well as basic scene cleaning, publishing and creating TruView illustrations. Cad Zone Point Cloud is the missing link between real Forensic Analysis and point cloud visualization. Although scanners have been in use for several years, the data collected has been limited to single measurements or simple viewing using software and plugins that are often plagued with compatibility issues, require special security privileges and restricted for use only with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Furthermore, without a powerful computer to run Cyclone and the proper software plugins, the Cyclone point cloud may not be viewed at all. Cyclone software is powerful and necessary, but alone it is simply not sufficient for a proper and complete Forensic Analysis. The following is a very short list of the many reasons you must have Cad Zone Point Cloud software: Crime Scene Multiple Dimensions Bullet Trajectory Blood Spatter Analysis Foot Print Analysis Tire Print Analysis Body Positioning Evidence Positioning Animation Crash Scene Multiple Dimensions Path of Travel Analysis True Distances Measured from Actual Paths of Travel Vector Analysis from Evidence Linear Momentum Analysis Vehicle/Pedestrian Positioning for Impact Analysis Vehicle/Pedestrian Positioning for Pre Impact Analysis Vehicle/Pedestrian Positioning for Time and Distance Analysis Animation Summary If you use a laser scanner to collect and preserve evidence and use that evidence in Forensic Analysis, you must have CZ Point Cloud to create Forensic Diagrams and illustrations worthy of presentation in the legal system.
