FREARO’S SUPER SCIENCE FAIR INTRODUCTORY LETTER TO PARENTS Dear Parents of 3rd-5th graders, Our school will be having our third annual Frearo’s Super Science Fair! We hope that, with your enthusiastic encouragement, your child will choose to participate in the fair by preparing a project. The science fair will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Because this project will be completed outside of school, parent support and assistance are essential to your child’s success. A general rule of thumb to go by is: th 5 graders should complete the entire science project by themselves. 4th graders should be able to complete the project with minimal assistance. 3rd graders may need some assistance for part of the project. Below is a Science Fair Project Selection Form. Please complete the form in its entirety with your child and have your child return it to their teacher by Monday, December 15, 2014. Forms that are not completely filled out will not be accepted. Please DO NOT have your child start his/her project until they have received a packet with all the guidelines. I will send the packet home with your child by December 19, so that he/she may begin working over Winter Break. We are looking forward to some fantastic projects again this year!
