Harry S. Truman Scholarship Fulbright – Hilary Rodham Clinton Fellowships in Public Policy The Harry S. Truman Foundation awards the Truman Scholarship, a merit based grant of up to $30,000, to eligible juniors who wish to pursue graduate studies in preparation for a career in government, the non- profit sector, or the public sector. Recipients of the Truman Scholarship must also complete a service requirement for three of the seven years following the completion of a graduate degree program. Fellows serve in professional public-policy-related placements in foreign government ministries or institutions and to gain hands-on public sector experience in participating foreign countries, while simultaneously carrying out an academic study/research project.
