Description A post-doc position is available in the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory at the UNC/NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. The research team is currently developing advanced control for powered artificial limbs and seeking for applicants in Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidates will participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating neural-machine interfaces for powered upper- or lower-limb prosthetics. Qualifications: The candidate should have (1) a Ph.D. in biomedical, or electrical engineering with relevant experiences, (2) are proficient in EEG and EMG analysis, machine learning, and algorithm development, (3) have strong programming skills in C/C++/MATLAB and system integration skills. The candidates with previous research experiences in brain function, neurorehabilitation, imaging processing, robotics design and control, biomechanics, or embedded system design will be preferred.
