Undergraduate Research Assistant
Position Opening
The Center of Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics (CCIPD) is seeking an
undergraduate to work on problems spanning a wide array of translational biomedical domains.
Representative Projects include:
- Developing, evaluating and applying
o Novel quantitative image analysis
o Computer Vision
o Signal processing
o Segmentation
o Multi-modal co-registration tools
o Pattern Recognition
o Machine Learning Tools
- This Projects are used for disease diagnosis, prognosis, and theragnosis in the
context of a number of cancers including
o Breast
o Prostate
o Head and neck
o Brain
Other projects in the lab involve Epilepsy and carotid plaque characterization

Candidate Requirements
- Strong mathematical and programming skills
- 3.5 Minimum GPA in engineering
- Strong commitment to the lab, including summers
- 15 hour/week minimum contribution during school year
- Previous lab experience
