1-TO-1 FORMAT SESSION
Designed for Producers, the MIPACADEMY 1-to-1 Format Session gives producers exclusive airtime to discuss their format bible
with Alexis De Gemini or learn tips on perfecting their treatments with Tim Crescenti. This is where format producers like you can
table your format ideas in front of these industry bigwigs, whose invaluable feedback is key in helping your project(s) take flight.
A new initiative introduced this year to enrich the learning experience at the MIPACADEMY, 1-to-1 Format Session is open to all
registered MIPACADEMY conference delegates for application.
Conditions of Participation and Application

The 1-to-1 Format session is open to all MIPACADEMY registered delegates (Registration for MIPACADEMY is at S$300,
subject to prevailing government taxes for Singapore registered companies).

Applying companies must submit their project(s) by 21 November 2014.

Applicants must hold copyrighted ownership on the material properties.

Applicants must complete the attached registration form with the requested details (powerpoint presentation and 30’ trailer).

Project submission must be made in English (Registration form, powerpoint presentation and 30’ trailer).

If selected by the format expert, company must commit to attend the review session on the 12 December 2014.

There is no cost to register for this 1-to-1 Format session.
Selection Process

All submitted projects for the selected MIPACADEMY 1-to-1 format session will be assessed by the relevant format speaker
and is subject to accreditation.

All applicants will be notified via email by Reed Exhibitions/ATF. Selected applicants will be contacted by Reed Exhibitions/
ATF on the meeting arrangement and schedule.

Reed Exhibitions/ATF is not liable for the projects which are not selected, selection decisions by the experts are final and
without appeal.
Selected Applicants’ Obligations

Session must be attended by the producer in person or authorized personnel to represent the company and or project.

Session will be conducted in English.

Any communication conducted after the market between the speakers and producers will be held independently between the
two parties only.

Each meeting session will take place in a closed-door 1-to-1 format for 30 minutes.
