NOTICE
ON THE PROCEDURE OF PREPARATION OF FINAL WORKS FOR STUDENTS OF
BACHELOR’S STUDIES

Students, who are eligible to continue into preparation of their final works of bachelor’s
studies, are required to submit their requests addressed to the Dean, specifying the Institute and
preliminary topic of the final work, by 20 October 2015.
Students preparing their final works of bachelor’s studies shall submit their respective
terms of reference of their final works of bachelor’s studies to the Institute in charge of the study
programme by 20 November 2015. Prospective contents, schedule of preparation of the final
work, final date of preparation of the work (20 May 2016) must be included into the terms of
reference. The terms of reference shall be signed by the student and the supervisor of the final
work and approved by the Director of the respective Institute.
Final works are prepared according to the schedule of preparation of the final work
according to the respective terms of reference. The first stage is dedicated to the search of
information sources on the analysed topic as well as collection of research, methodological, and
publicist literature. The deadline for this stage is 15 December 2015. Students shall meet their
respective supervisors by the specified date to discuss current progress, effectiveness of the tasks
already completed, any corrections that may be required, methodology of other stages of
preparation of the final work, information sources.
Having assessed the information submitted by the student, the supervisor signs the terms
of reference of the final work, thus marking completion/non-completion of the first stage and
allowing/not allowing the student to proceed into further preparation of the final work.
After the beginning of the spring semester, the students shall revise the topics of their
respective papers with their supervisors and fill in the revised terms of reference by 15 February
2016. Three original copies of the terms of reference are required: one copy shall be submitted to
the Institute, another copy – to the Dean’s Office, the third copy shall remain with the student for
inclusion into the final work.
The Director of the respective Institute makes a revised list of the students preparing the
final works and submits it to the Dean’s Office by 22 February 2016.

Finalised final works shall be submitted to the Dean’s Office (Room 426) by 20 May
2016. Defence of final works is planned for 30-31 May 2016. Graduation ceremony is planned
for 17 June 2016.
