Counseling Staff, Testing Staff, and Director of Education Job Descriptions: Conduct intake evaluations and provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples within provider’s boundaries of competence. Provide timely documentation according to Center policies and established best-practices utilizing state-of-the-art Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Maintain professional ethical and legal standards (e.g., American Psychological Association; American Association of Pastoral Counselors, respective professional licensing Boards, etc.) and in accordance with Center policy. Develop and enhance competence providing spiritually integrated psychotherapy for clients seeking these services. Participate in emergency on-call crisis coverage rotation with other staff clinicians. Attend twice monthly all staff and peer consultation meetings on Tuesday mornings at our main office in Clear Lake or at our meeting group in West Houston. Attend optional free CEU presentations each month with periodic in-house CEU workshop trainings (approved by all Texas State mental health boards). Registered Play Therapists may provide play therapy services at our play rooms in Clear Lake or Richmond offices. Certified supervisors across disciplines have opportunities to provide clinical supervision to our residents in training (in the fields of psychology, social work, counseling and marriage and family therapy). MindWorks Testing staff (LP/LPA) will conduct psychological and psycho-educational evaluations according to the boundaries of their competence (i.e., initial consultation, administration, scoring, interpretation, write up, and feedback) and under supervision or with consultation as needed. The Director of Education will be a salaried member of the management team primarily responsible for overseeing the quality and development of our education program, recruitment and selection of qualified applicants, developing relationships with local area training programs, marketing of the education program, maintaining a clinical caseload, and duties as assigned. Qualifications: Master’s degree or above required. Independent license to practice in Texas (or under supervision if LPA). Member of, or eligible to join, preferred provider insurance panels. Supervisor certification for LCSW, LPC, and LMFT applicants preferred. Experienced and early career clinicians are encouraged to apply.
