Structural/Civil Engineering Intern – RedBuilt LLC
RedBuilt is a growing company and has been a leader in the Engineered Wood Products
business for over 50 years. Since our creation, we have maintained a strong commitment
to the development of our associates. Our products and services are utilized in a variety
of commercial, custom residential and industrial applications.
We are currently seeking a summer intern to support our engineered wood products
commercial business. The intern will work under the direction of Professional Engineers
and will be primarily responsible for structural analysis and product design using
proprietary engineering software, producing and reviewing shop drawings and creating
material lists. The job function also includes working directly with contractors, architects
and engineers. Cross training opportunities exist in our industrial and corporate
engineering functions.
There are openings for this position in Boise, ID, Chino, CA, Delaware, OH and
Hillsboro, OR. The engineering intern will report to the local Design Center Leader.
Qualifications
 Currently enrolled in a 4 year engineering program or a master’s program.
 Framing experience is a plus.
 Ability to read blue prints and other construction documents.
 Must be computer literate including EXCEL and WORD. Experience with
AutoCAD or the ability to quickly learn a plus.
 Must be capable of performing successfully in a team and individual environment
in order to meet customer timelines.
 Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers,
sales associates and the technical team.
