English Language Quality Standards Programme Online moderated teacher training courses / Face-to-face workshops Following are the terms and conditions for the participating schools / institutions: 1. The online moderated teacher training courses are offered through an online course platform. Participants will be provided access to the course platform only for the duration of the course. 2. The face-to-face workshop will be delivered in a classroom at an institution premises or the British Council premises. 3. The school / institution will liaise with the British Council on behalf of all the participants for enrolment and payments. This activity is not open to individuals directly, but only via their employers (the school or institution). 4. The workshop and courses will meet British Council standards and will be delivered and or moderated by a qualified British Council trainer or course moderator. 5. Seats are limited. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. 6. All payments will have to be made using demand draft in favour of ‘British Council Division’ payable at New Delhi before the start of the course or workshop. The participants’ place on the workshop or course will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment from the school or institution. 7. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a workshop or course. In case a course is cancelled, we will offer to move the participants to another course or to defer them to the same course starting at a later date or to refund the fees. 8. We will not consider any requests for cancellations from the course, i.e., refund or credit of fees once we have confirmed participation and after having received the workshop or course fees for a participant. This applies to both before and after the start of the course. 9. We will endeavour to make up cancelled sessions but may not be able to do so due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. security threat, natural disaster or emergency evacuation. 1 10. The workshop fees and course fees include all course material. Participants will be provided the course material which are to be used by the participants for their own learning and are not to be widely circulated or shared with a third party outside the context of this course. The British Council holds the rights to the course content and any material or information associated with it. 11. Participants will be responsible for ensuring that they follow the schedule as agreed with the e-moderator of the course. Group or individual sessions will not be rescheduled or repeated during the course. 12. Participants will be responsible for ensuring that they are present and attend the workshop as per the schedule. 13. Participants will be responsible for following the schedule for study and assignments on the course. 14. Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully passing the course, i.e., meeting the attendance, participation and assessment criteria. Participants will receive a certificate of participation for the workshop. The names and details the confirmed participants are mentioned below.
