Cam Shaft and PP-Performance Make a Mint Metallic GTI

Vehicle wrapping has been growing in popularity since it first began to hit the automotive world a
decade ago as an alternative to painting. This popularity has led companies to create exotic colors and
combinations that help to emphasize power and performance while standing out from the crowd. The
new Mk VII Volkswagen GTI is one such vehicle to benefit from the teams at Cam Shaft Premium Car
Wrapping and PP-Performance.
While the Volkswagen GTI is considered a hot hatch, this one is minty cool thanks to its new wrap from
Cam Shaft. The entire GTI was covered with a mix of mint matte metallic with contrasting black matte
metallic on the lower portions of the rear and sides. The black perfectly matches the factory black front
air slits and grilles, while the taillights have a slight black tint.
Backing up that head-turning mint matte metallic wrap is an extra boost of performance under the
hood. Thanks to PP-Performance, the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four cylinder engine benefits from a
Stage 1 tune that ups power from 230 to 280 horsepower. All 50 ponies come in at just 799 euros.
To finish off the look and performance of the Volkswagen GTI, the German tuner gave it a new chassis
and wheel fitment. An ST-Suspensions XTA chassis was paired up with a new H&R stabilizer kit to
sharpen up the handling dynamics and give the hot hatch the perfect stance. New ASA AS3 wheels
replace the factory units and wear a smooth gunmetal finish with polished face in an 8.5 x 19 fitment
with 244/35-19 tires. The wider wheels are covered thanks to new 3.5-cm widened GFK fenders from
Muecke Carbon and Kunststofftechnik.
The full Volkswagen GTI Mk VII conversion by Cam Shaft and PP-Performance is currently available as an
entire package or as individual accessories. Currently, more powerful performance stages are being
developed and will be available in the future.
