ABH Miratorg operating results for 9 months of year 2011
Pork production
In 9 months of year 2011, overall pork production of ABH Miratorg worked out 119,6
thousand t in live weight, which is 16% more than against the same period of year 2010 (103,1
thousand t).
Production increase is conditioned by start-up of Pig Complex Safonovsky 3rd line of as well
as the 1st line of Pig Complex Kalinovsky.
Meat processing
Overall production of JSC Korocha meat processing factory of ABH Miratorg in Belgorod
region totaled 96 thousand t for 9 months of year 2011. In spite of purchase volume reduction for
live weight external supply, the factory managed to keep slaughtering capacity at the level of the
same period of year 2010, to increase production volumes by 3% for industrial package products
and by 350% for consumer package ones.
Distribution
Sales volume of ABH Miratorg for 9 months of year 2011 remained at the level of the same
period of year 2010 and totaled 243 thousand tons.
Crops production
For 9 months of year 2011, the total volume of crops, harvested by ABH Miratorg within the
framework of harvesting campaign totaled 263,5 thousand t, which is 58% more than figure of the
same period of 2010 (166,7 thousand t).
Holding farmland area extended within 9 months of year 2011 by 67,5 thousand hectares
and totaled 197,5 thousand hectares, which overran the same period of year 2010 (130,9 thousand t)
by 51%.
Implementation of beef production project
As a part of ABH Miratorg project implementation for beef production in Bryansk region, the
construction of 7 farms in Trubtchevsk, Potchep and Mglin districts is being performed. Each farm
is rated for 3 thousand cattle heads. Within October, 2 farms will be commissioned in Trubtchevsk
and Potchep districts of Bryansk region.
In June, within the frame of the project, the first two farms were commissioned and settled
with cattle, after arrival of the first Aberdeen-Angus breed cattle shipment from Australia in the
amount of 5700 heads.
Before the year 2011 is out, Holding have plans to finish construction of 14 farms and settle 6
farms more with cattle in Trubtchevsk and Potchep districts of Bryansk region; and the planned
volume of breeding stock by the end of year is 26 thousand heads. Design development and
equipment selection is carried out for hi-tech slaughtering and meat processing complex.
Poultry project implementation
At present ABH Miratorg carries out construction of three broiler poultry farms, as well as
modern meat processing complex in Vygonitchsky district of Bryansk region.
The construction of three (of twelve planned ) poultry farms is started in Trubtchevsk district
of Bryansk region.
Reconstruction of semi-finished-products factory
In Kaliningrad region, the reconstruction works are dynamically performed at ‘’Concordia’’
factory, which was burnt in summer of 2010.
At the moment, the following construction and assembly works have been completed:
foundation, metal frame mounting of the production building, network arrangement (production
sewage facilities, sanitary and storm sewer systems), reinforced floors, profiled ceilings and
coverage, roofing (65%), solid-cast stair wells and wells for 2 elevators, laboratory has been
reconstructed (equipment installation is under way) as well as foot crossing of sanitary zones. Air
handling equipment and compressor equipment have been restored at the factory.
More than 20 contracting companies are involved in construction and assembly works.
Construction completion and equipment trial availability are scheduled for April of 2012.
