I am hoping to estimate the potential savings that could be made within the NHS by the implementation of PC power management software in many NHS Trusts. In order to do this I would like to collect some data about IT usage in your Trust as follows: - Number of desktop computers / work stations in the hospital (excluding PACS machines). 1450 total workstations. - Inactive (but turned on) desktop computer hours per week for the entire hospital (excluding PACS machines). Under Section 1 the Trust is unable to answer this as we have no way to monitor this. - Active desktop computer operating hours per week for the entire hospital (excluding PACS machines).
