Textiles & small electrical items These can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Site and at some Neighbourhood Recycling Points Rubbish Bin For items you cannot recycle such as food waste, cat litter/dog waste and disposable nappies. Please do not place builders’ rubble, soil, hot ashes or garden waste in this bin. Clean, empty and loose Please help us with our recycling by giving your plastics, cans, foil, glass bottles and jars a quick rinse before placing them loose in your recycling containers. Please remember to remove plastic film from around magazines/junk mail, liners from cereal boxes, and to bag shredded paper. Collection information Please ensure that your containers are put out at the edge of your property by 7am on the day of collection. Please take bins in as soon as possible after collection. Please report any missed bin/box collections by 5pm the following working day. Unfortunately, we are unable to return for missed collections reported later than this. Please ensure that your rubbish is contained within the rubbish bin. Side waste will not be collected. Extra recycling can be placed out in a suitable box or carrier bags (no black sacks) next to your recycling bin. If you order a new or replacement recycling bin/box, you will now be delivered a green bin/black box. If the collection crews are unable to gain access due to road works, parked cars or adverse weather, they will try to return as soon as possible. Please leave your containers out until they are emptied. During periods of extreme weather, please see our website for updates on your collections. Flats/properties with communal bins - Please continue to use your bins as specified on the attached labels.
