STONE SOUL EXHIBITION 2015
Exhibiting Members of the Sculptors’ Society Gold Coast
The Sculptors’ Society Gold Coast Inc (SSGC) in continuing its aim of encouraging the appreciation of varied sculpture and is
hosting an exhibition in collaboration with Soul in Stone Gallery at Sanctuary Cove from 23rd Jan – 15th Feb 2015.
The Sculptors’ Society Gold Coast extends an invitation to all members to submit up to four (4) entries in this exhibition.
Works to be exhibited will be selected by Luis Blasco, Curator Soul in Stone Gallery.

All exhibits are to be for sale with artist’s name and selling price labeled clearly. Prices should reflect reasonable value. Soul in Stone
Gallery will charge a 40% commission on sales. Selling price to be GST inclusive if the artist is registered for GST.
Entry Forms are due by 5pm Friday 9th January 2015; late entries may not be accepted.
Entry is open to all financial members (full and associate students) of the Sculptors’ Society Gold Coast Inc.
There is no entry fee to exhibit - the SSGC Exhibition Committee is delighted to offer this opportunity in recognition of valued members.
Members can submit up to 4 pieces.
Artwork must be sculpture. New work is encouraged, however previously exhibited work will be considered. Plinths are supplied.

Artworks are limited to 1 cubic metre and able to be moved easily by one or two people.

The exhibition committee along with the Gallery Curator reserves the right to curate the exhibition to its best visual display.
All works to remain for the duration of the exhibition – no early removals. Exceptions may be granted at the Exhibition Committee’s
discretion if sales to interstate/international visitors require early release.
10. Members agree to deliver works to the gallery on Thursday 22nd January between 9am – 1pm.
11. Members agree to collect unsold works on Monday 16th February between 9am – 1pm. Please note if these conditions are not met there is
a storage fee of $5 per artwork per day. After three weeks, if artworks are not collected, SSGC will dispose of the artworks at their
discretion to defray costs.
12. In the event that a sculpture is sold, any freight and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. The Gallery Manager will manage the
administration of sales.
13. The official opening is Friday 23rd January at 5pm and will be hosted at the Soul in Stone Gallery. All exhibitors are kindly requested to
contribute a plate of finger food. SSGC will provide wine and drinks at a nominal fee. We encourage you to bring your friends, family,
associates, art lovers to enjoy the exhibition.
14. Whilst all care will be taken by SSGC and Soul in Stone Gallery, the artist is responsible for insuring their works and guarantee to indemnify
SSGC and Soul in Stone Gallery against any loss or damage, however caused.
15. The Exhibition Committee and Soul in Stone Curator will be responsible for the display the works and will endeavour to display all pieces to
their best advantage within what ever limitations present themselves (eg. display space) and take for granted that all exhibiting artists
understand and accept such limitations. Please notify us of any special conditions relating to your artwork display.
16. Any decision by the Exhibition Committee and Soul in Stone Curator is final and binding with no correspondence entered into.
17. Only original works produced by the exhibiting artists are eligible to enter.
18. The exhibitor agrees to allow SSGC to use photographs of the entry for promotional purposes.
